Paula Sanchez – Cello
Situated at the intersections of experimental music, free improvisation and performance art, Paula Sánchez's work focuses on the composition/decomposition and destruction/re-construction of a mutable sound space. With a markedly interdisciplinary profile, she found her first voice as a performer and composer in the fields of theater and performance art.
She completed her classical studies of Violoncello at the National University of Argentina. Later she obtained two Master degrees in Switzerland; in Improvisation at the Basel Academy of Music and in Sound Art/Contemporary Art Practices at the Bern University of the Arts. She is active in contemporary music and improvisation circles in Europe participating in numerous concerts, and developing her work as a composer and performer. She stands out for her use of extended techniques and unconventional ways of playing the cello, working with materials such as plastic, glass and elements of nature combined with voice and electronics. Hers is the pure presence of an embodied sound that invents its relationships while making its way into nothingness.

Duo Huhn – Strinning
Die Saxophonisten Leonhard Huhn (DE) und Sebastian Strinning (CH) teilen eine ungehemmte Leidenschaft für Improvisation. Sie entwickelten unabhängig voneinander eine ähnlich faszinierende Klangsprache. Sie spannen Klangnetze, gebrauchen Präparationen für perkussive und schillernde Mehrklänge, folgen impulsiven Ausbrüchen und lieben es die Klangwelt des Saxophons an seine Grenzen zu treiben. 2022 erst lernten sie sich kennen und beschlossen umgehend ein Duo Projekt in die Tat umzusetzen.
